I'm honestly at a loss for words as I sit down and write this. I never imagined I'd be experiencing this heartache so soon. Yesterday afternoon, I had to say goodbye to my beautiful mom. Unfortunately, my mother suffered a stroke and, in the process, suffered a massive brain bleed. For those of you who knew her, my mom was the heart of our family. Her warmth, laughter, and love touched everyone she met. She always put others first, and her kindness was felt by so many. For my girls and me, she was our rock. Losing her so suddenly has left us heartbroken. It’s a strong reminder that life is unpredictable and short, and every second we have with those we care about is a gift. My brother and I want to honor my mom's memory in the best way possible, and her wish was to be buried alongside her family back in Honduras. We're trying to raise funds for my mom's funeral expenses to prepare her and fly her out to her home. Any support, no matter the amount, would mean the world to my family and me. Ayer por la tarde, tuve que despedirme de mi linda mama. Lamentablemente, mi madre sufrió un derrame cerebral y, como consecuencia, una hemorragia cerebral masiva. Para quienes la conocieron, mi mama era el corazón de nuestra familia. Su calidez, su risa y su amor conmovieron a todos los que la conocieron. Mi hermano y yo queremos honrar la memoria de mi madre de la mejor manera posible, y su deseo era ser enterrada junto a su familia en Honduras.
