Dear friends and family,

I’m writing this with a heavy heart, and it’s not an easy message to send.

As many of you know, my mom is nearing the end of her life after a long journey with dementia. With most of our family in Europe, my twin sister and I are the only ones here in America to care for her and manage everything that comes with this stage of her illness.

I’ve had to step away from work for at least a month to be present for her and to handle her care. While I wouldn’t be anywhere else, the financial strain of being out of work on top of everything else has become overwhelming.

This is incredibly hard for me to ask, but I’m reaching out to see if anyone is able to offer financial support during this time. Any amount, or even just sharing this message with others who care about us, would mean more than I can express. And if you’re not in a position to help financially, your love, prayers, messages, and support are just as deeply appreciated.
