My mom, Hazel was a very caring and loving person who would do anything for anyone, even when she didn’t have much herself. She always found a way to help others and brought joy and laughter to every room she entered. Despite fighting her own inner battles every day, she was filled with great humor and strength. Her love for her children and grandchildren was unmatched, and she will have a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.

Recently, my mom passed away after a difficult illness. Our family is now facing the unexpected costs of cremation and funeral home expenses. Unfortunately, my mom did not have life insurance, and I was not financially prepared for these expenses. Over the past two months, I have been traveling daily to be with her, which meant leaving work early and missing out on income. The cost of gas and time away from work has made this time even more challenging.

I am very grateful for everyone’s support and love through these difficult times. I never imagined I would need to create a fundraiser, but I am overwhelmed by the financial burden and want to give my mom the farewell she deserves.
