My mom was recently diagnosed with stage 3 cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive cancer. She will be undergoing a major surgery on April 13 in Philadelphia to remove a liver mass and part of her liver and will start chemotherapy in the months following. She will be hospitalized at the University of Pennsylvania for a week after the procedure.

My mom is the most selfless person I know and never asks for help but I am hoping by doing this, I am able to give back to her and give her some help. I was hoping to be able to alleviate some of her medical bills and help with travel and lodging expenses so my dad can take time off work to be there with her through the surgery and recovery.
