Earlier this year, our family received the heartbreaking news that my mom was diagnosed with metastatic endometrial cancer. Since then, she has faced several hospital admissions and countless appointments at Novant Health in Winston-Salem, NC. Through it all, she has shown incredible strength, but this journey has been overwhelming—physically, emotionally, and financially.

My mom has always been the heart of our family. She is the one who prays for us, cheers for us, and loves us unconditionally. Now, it’s our turn to rally around her. Unfortunately, she cannot work at this time due to her treatment and the medications she must take to help with the pain of the masses. In truth, the cost of treatments, medications, transportation, and daily living expenses is far more than we can manage alone. Between caring for her at home and helping her transition between my home and my brother’s, we’ve done our best to support her—but we need help.
