My name is Keyarea, and I am 21 years old. My mom has always been my world, and for the past months, I have been her caregiver as she bravely fights stage 4 cervical cancer. The cancer is very aggressive, and every day brings new challenges and uncertainty. As her condition becomes more serious, I am doing everything I can to make her comfortable and to be there for her in every way possible.

This journey has been incredibly hard, not just emotionally but also financially. I am preparing myself for the possibility of living alone, which is overwhelming at my age. Taking care of my mom has been my life, really ever since my father was murdered in 2019. Im currently not working & Now I am facing the reality of needing help to cover her needs and my own—like rent and staying on my feet. The funds raised will help make my mom as comfortable as possible in her last times. If she passes, I want to honor her wishes to be cremated and to have a beautiful ceremony in her name. For myself, the support will help me with rent and other essentials as I try to navigate this difficult time.
