Support for my Mom During Liver Cancer Treatment
Donation protected
My name is William Bishop, and my mom raised me on her own. Upon breaking free from an abusive relationship, she moved us out to a small rental unit in Ann Arbor, where she knew I could be put through a good education system. As a result of where we are, I have been bestowed with an astonishing amount of time to study, grow, and learn.
However, recent years have not been so kind to my Mom. It has been one medical hurdle after another. First diabetes, then appendicitis, followed by a bowel obstruction that required surgery, and now bile duct cancer. The bills have been adding up, and now the rent in Ann Arbor is forcing my Mom to move into a studio rental unit. As a result, she is going to be starting her cancer treatment just as she is downsizing into the new place.
I have been doing everything I can to both assist her and give back for everything she has made even remotely possible for me. However, it feels like it is time to ask for some help. I deeply want my Mom to have at least some peace of mind as she navigates her way through this. I want her to know that she isn’t truly alone and that things can be financially stable while she works her way through the treatment process.
Absolutely anything would be appreciated beyond belief.
