Hello friends

I’m reaching out on behalf of my mom and stepdad, who are going through one of the most difficult times of their lives. About a month ago, my stepdad Alan was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. Not only did they get that diagnosis, but they were also told that it has already spread to his bones, lymph nodes, and lungs. It’s taken a tremendous emotional and financial toll on both of them.

They’re facing medical bills, travel expenses for treatment, and everyday living costs that don’t pause when cancer strikes.

My mom is doing everything she can to hold things together while caring for him, but regardless, it’s still emotionally and financially stressful. Especially because she has had to take off quite a bit of work already, just to manage everything, but of course, there’s much more to come.

That’s why I’ve started this fundraiser: to give her a little breathing room, so instead of worrying about the logistics and day-to-day stress, she can focus on being there for Alan.

Every donation, no matter how small, will help cover:

• Medical and treatment costs

• Gas, lodging, or meals related to hospital trips

• Monthly bills and groceries during time off work

• Any unexpected expenses along the way
