This is hard to do, as my family and I don't often ask for help. But right now, we want to make sure we aren't struggling alone. My mom was diagnosed with lung cancer in June 2025. She bravely completed six weeks of chemo and radiation therapy, followed by three rounds of immunotherapy. At her follow-up PET CT, we learned that while her original tumor had dissipated, the cancer had unfortunately spread to her lymph nodes. The doctors told us that more chemo would only offer a shorter time to live, so my mom has decided to focus on quality of life rather than continue with more treatments.
We are trying to raise funds so that my family can travel back and forth to be with my mom as much as possible during this time. I live in Texas and my brother lives in Ohio, so travel expenses add up quickly. These funds will also help cover funeral expenses, a headstone, and additional travel for our family. We want to make sure my mom feels surrounded by love and support, and that we can honor her wishes.
I appreciate your prayers and support—any amount, no matter how small, will make a difference for us. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for helping my family during this difficult time.
