My dad was a strong, courageous, and loyal father who worked hard every day and loved his family more than anything. We were very close and even worked together, sharing not just our days but our dreams and challenges. His passing has left a huge hole in our lives, and we are still coming to terms with the loss of such a loving presence in our family.

Now, my mom is facing her own battle with cancer. On top of her health struggles, she is also dealing with the sudden loss of my dad’s income and medical insurance. This has made it incredibly hard for her to keep up with house bills and the mounting medical expenses. The stress of these financial burdens, while grieving and fighting illness, is overwhelming for her and for all of us who love her.
