Our hearts are completely shattered. It is with deep sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our loving father, Rod.

We are still trying to process what happened. He passed away at his workplace, and by the time he was found, he was unresponsive. The shock of this loss has left our entire family devastated.

Our mom and dad shared a beautiful love story that spanned 23 years. Rod had eight children and four granddaughters with another on the way. He was truly the heart of the family. To know him was to love him; he had a huge heart, a great sense of humor, and a way of making everyone feel cared for and seen.

He was also the sole provider for the family (Brandy, Jaxon, and Ava), working tirelessly every day to make sure everyone was taken care of. His passing at just 54 years old has left an unimaginable void and turned our world upside down.

Now, our mom is facing the unthinkable—grieving the loss of her partner while also carrying the weight of how to support and care for the family moving forward. Between funeral expenses and everyday living costs, the road ahead feels overwhelming.
