This is a difficult thing for me to do, but I’m running out of options. I’m in need of help for medical expenses & equipment. 2025 was one chaotic disaster after another. I’ve lost my health, my job (because of my health decline), and as of Dec 31st, my health insurance.

In April 2025, I went to work and left in an ambulance after I collapsed. I spent 4 days in the hospital, and this was the beginning of all the doctor and specialist appointments, at least 10 or more ER visits, and a second hospital stay in October. Over the course of 2025, there were so many questions but no answers (just unexplained gastro issues and declining cognitive and mobility functions) until 12/26/2025, when I went to urgent care with severe vertigo. All this time, I had plenty of CT scans of the rest of my body, but no one had scanned my brain until then. I still don’t understand all of it, but I have severe white matter disease. There are a lot more terms and descriptions for it, but I have the brain of a 70+ year old. MS (multiple sclerosis) has been mentioned a few times as a possibility. I was also able to get an MRI on 12/29 that confirmed the white matter disease. My insurance went from $20 to $1000 for 2026, so I had no choice but to drop it with no income. My mobility and cognitive functions continue to decline. I’ve had multiple falls and blackouts due to this. I can barely get around now short distances with a cane and assistance.

I’m waiting for an appointment with a neurologist that will take self-pay since I no longer have health insurance.
