Hey all, I’m reaching out because I need some help. In 2015 I started to have periodic neurological issues that had caused my vision to become double, partially lose my vision, have dizziness, lose motor coordination, and I would lose my short term memory as well. Well over the years all of these things got worse, and they would happen more frequently. It really affected my life a lot because I would have to cancel things a lot and stay home and try to feel normal again. I was very confused often to why this happened but had no answers after seeing 8-12 doctors over the years. Through these years I served the community as a general contractor/fabricator while also being active in my local church. In 2019 I moved to Grants Pass to help a new church as part of the leadership there and moved back in 2024. I always wished throughout this time I could connect with people who needed help and be more available cognitively, more in the moment, so I could be a better help to others.
In February, 2025 I was leaving trade school and was driving back home in and I ended rear ended a lady when going around a corner (I’m so sorry ma’am).
In March, 2025 I had a very similar situation to happen and this time my truck got totaled. Not sure what to do! I went to the ER to get an exemption for school and finally found out I had a tumor in my PSOAS muscle after all the years.
I scheduled surgery at Oregon OHSU on 1/21 and have needed a second surgery since being here. Overall I am about a six weeks behind where I thought I would be going back to work, and my FMLA paid leave has run out.
Overall I am thankful for God lining all of these things up though. The most superficial part is I actually don’t have back pain any more. I got to learn a lot about myself and how to live life with struggles and to be helpful and compassionate to others with issues. I have a burden because of this to be helpful resource in some capacity to others. But anyway, I have a truck payment now and a few other expenses that I have to keep up with to keep my life on track and I need your help. Please consider donating, thank you.
The funds will be used to help my children, save my vehicle, and cover the gap of my monthly expenses.
