My husband suffered a sudden and unexpected stroke. He fell from his chair and, since that day, he hasn’t been able to come home and my heart breaks to say he never will. Our lives changed in an instant, and every day since has been filled with uncertainty and worry as we navigate life without him; and the challenges that come with it. The financial and mental strain has been overwhelming. Overall daily living expenses, insurance are a burden. I am doing everything to support my daughter and I. And now with the future as uncertain as it is, we truly are in a time of crisis. We need to move to rebuild our lives without my sweet husband… My mission is to create and promote better therapies to help to save and create better outcomes for those who have suffered strokes. I DO NOT want any other families to have to go through the anguish we are in now. We are reaching out to our friends, family, and community for help.
