My husband suffered a sudden and unexpected stroke. He fell from his chair and, since that day, he hasn’t been able to come home and my heart breaks to say he never will. Our lives changed in an instant, and every day since has been filled with uncertainty and worry as we navigate life without him; and the challenges that come with it.

The financial strain has been overwhelming. Our medical insurance comes with a large deductible, and there are so many other bills piling up—hospital stay in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit and daily living expenses. We are doing everything we can to support my daughter and I, but the costs are more than we can manage on our own. And now with the future as uncertain as it is, we truly are in a time of crisis. We need to move and rebuild our lives without my sweet husband…
