On April 8, 2026, my husband was at our neighborhood gas station getting gas. As he finished pumping and returned to his vehicle, an unknown person shot him 12 times. Despite his injuries, my husband managed to drive himself toward the hospital, with police escorting him along the way. He is now in the ICU, fighting to recover from these wounds at just 34 years old. We are married with four children, and our world has been turned upside down by this senseless act of violence.

My husband is a wonderful man who is deeply loved by our family and friends. With everything happening and my husband unable to work, our family is facing a lot of uncertainty. He is the primary breadwinner, and we depend on him every single day. Now, we are struggling to keep up with medical bills, household expenses, and transportation for our children. It’s overwhelming, but we are doing our best to stay strong for him and for each other.
