On New Year's Day, my husband suffered a massive heart attack that turned our world upside down. He is a devoted father of four and my very best friend, and seeing him go through this has been incredibly hard for our family. The days since have been filled with hospital visits, uncertainty, and worry as he continues to fight for his recovery.

He isn’t out of the woods yet—he has another surgery scheduled for Monday, and the road ahead is still uncertain.
