Our family is going through one of the hardest moments of our lives after my husband suffered a sudden medical emergency while sleeping. Seeing the person you love unresponsive and fighting for their life is something I would never wish on anyone. What started as a terrifying night quickly turned into hospital stays, countless tests, procedures, and ongoing medical care we never expected.

After many evaluations, doctors decided it was safest for him to receive a defibrillator implant to protect his heart. While we are beyond grateful he is still here with us, this experience has been emotionally and financially overwhelming for our family.

My husband is a loving husband, an amazing father, hardworking, and someone who always puts others before himself. Anyone who knows him knows how much soccer means to him. It has always been one of his biggest passions and a huge part of his life, which makes this situation even more heartbreaking for him and all of us who love him.

As we focus on his recovery and helping our children through this difficult time, we are also facing growing medical bills, medications, appointments, and missed work. It is hard for us to ask for help, but right now any donation, prayer, or share would truly mean the world to our family.
