My husband was diagnosed with cancer HPV stage 3 and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma stage 2. They had to put a feeding tube in because he was in so much pain he couldn't eat. He had to do 2 months of chemo and radiation in August and September. The radiation was on his neck and jaw; you could see where it was burning his neck. After that, they found an aneurysm in his belly and had to put a stent. Three weeks later, on January 31, he was in a 12-hour surgery with 3 doctors. They removed a tumor, a piece of his jaw, a piece of his tongue, and 12 lymph nodes. He came out of surgery with a trach. After 2 weeks in the hospital, we got to go home. We were home for a day and a half before I had to take him to the ER, and they flew him out. He was in the hospital for another 2 weeks. He is in remission, glory to God, because the doctor's outlook was different. He has some appointments coming up and has already missed a couple. It's really important we make it to his appointments.we have a 6 year old the only income we have is his ssi and time pay bills and we get s h e needs we just cant afford to go Lexington. the last 2 times we been they didn't have any gas cards cause usely they give us gas cards cause we live so far away but they been out and they don't pay caregiver in state .county where I live or I cant find anyone so we trying to make it on just what benefit he drops food bills rent its gone we truly be greatfull for any help and thank you
