Since 2019, my husband has faced an unimaginable series of health challenges. He was first diagnosed with prostate cancer, and just as we thought we were through the worst, he was diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2022. The cancer was so advanced that doctors had to remove his right kidney. In 2024, we learned he had multiple myeloma, a blood cancer, and now, he is facing yet another battle—a cancerous tumor in his remaining kidney. He is scheduled for surgery in just a week. Through all of this, my husband has continued to work tirelessly, never once complaining, even as his body has been pushed to its limits. He is 64 years old and has always been the provider for our family, but now he desperately needs to rest and focus on healing. Unfortunately, we simply cannot afford for him to retire right now, and the financial strain is overwhelming.
