My husband was diagnosed with cancer a week ago. In that short time, he started exhibiting stroke-like symptoms that turned out to be a mass on his brain stem which they say is unrelated to his other cancer diagnosis. We are still awaiting results to see what the mass is. He will be out of work for the foreseeable future and is our main income. I will also need to miss a lot of work while we are dealing with this new situation. Anything at all helps between traveling to the hospital, outstanding medical bills, and missed wages.
