Support my grandmother: Jean's Journey to Recovery

Donation protected
To our friends and family,

My grandmother Jean was recently diagnosed with stage 3 cancer in her lower sigmoid. Jean and her husband Michael are my grandparents. I call them Grandmommy and Papa. They are preparing to travel to Mayo Clinic for an estimated treatment time of 6 months.

This upcoming treatment will be tough physically, emotionally, and financially. My goal is to help them with their travel and medical expenses as much as possible so their focus can be solely on Grandmommy’s health.

For those of you who don't know my grandparents, they are coming up on their 50th wedding anniversary. They have both led truly inspiring lives with their work ministering in local fellowships, as well as their missionary work in Cuba, Mexico, Brazil, Honduras, and the Bahamas.

My grandparents have also faced many hardships in their lives, amongst the hardest, they have buried two children; Heather and Brock, as well as a son-in-law, David.

Grandmommy’s current health challenge is not her first. She had experienced Lyme disease, Graves’ disease, a diseased gall bladder, hysterectomy (cancer), hernia surgery, and a broken spinal cord, to name a few. It is safe to say, she is resilient!

Through everything my grandmother has faced she has done so with amazing faith and grace.

Thank you all for your kindness, generosity, and prayers.
