Support for My Girlfriend: Replacing Her Totaled Car

Hello, I am Gionni. I am starting a GoFundMe for my girlfriend, Rosa, because she got into a pretty serious car accident. Thankfully, she made it out with a few bruises and scratches. Her car, on the other hand, had a lot more than a few scratches and bruises; it was totaled.

If you're wondering what happened, today, on 4/20/2025, she was on her way to Walmart with her sister in Lapeer, Michigan, when all of a sudden, someone started merging into her lane. They turned right into her car. All she could do was attempt to hit the brakes, but it was too late already. She swerved over the curb and went right into a pole in front of a restaurant. Luckily, there was a witness outside who saw everything unfold on this unlucky Easter afternoon. The inattentive driver, who caused this accident to arise, drove off before the police arrived.

She just recently made enough money to purchase a car, but her car insurance won't cover the damage to the car because she doesn't have full coverage on it, and the other driver drove off, so she couldn't get their insurance, name, or even the plate number. Hopefully, the police can get the person's plate number. In the meantime, we're hoping to possibly raise some money to help her get a new vehicle so she can get to work and home safely.

All funds raised will go towards Rosa getting a car and potentially some of the medical costs from the ambulance and hospital visit.
