Hi everyone, for the past couple of months, I have been dealing with a traumatic event in private. A couple of months ago, I was diagnosed with malignant esophageal cancer. Unfortunately, I'm not a candidate to have the surgery to remove the esophagus because of how severe my COPD is. As I'm sure you can imagine, medical bills and necessities to deal with this kind of cancer have become extremely costly. It's hard enough knowing I have to fight like hell without adding the finances into the mix.
On the 5th of January, I'll be having another procedure done to detect how far into the tissue this has gone so we can decide on what mode of action to take next. So even though I've done this for so many others, this is the first time I've ever been in the position where I felt the need to do it for myself. I know I have a great family and some great friends. I also have a great team at Wilmot Cancer Institute, and I intend to keep on fighting, so if you can find it in your hearts to help at all or even to share this, I would greatly appreciate your help.
