Update*** The Memorial for our father will be held on Fri, Feb 20, 2026 11am - 12:30pm at the Heritage Chapel in Fontana at Green Family Cremation and Burial. The address is 13819 E. Foothill Blvd., Fontana, Ca
The private repast will follow at 2pm in Rancho Cucamonga for family & close friends of the family.
All of the donations received have helped to secure the mortuary costs, room rental for repast, cremation, chapel, catering, florists, obituary & photo printing, repast and memorial décor, etc.
From our entire family, THANK YOU ALL!!!
The weight of the financial part being lifted allowed us to breathe & alleviated a lot of the additional stress during this most difficult time. I am now pulling video and audio footage to create a memorable lasting montage to play during the memorial. This is the last thing I’m working on, and it will definitely be the most difficult for me. God guide me.
God’s Blessings ~
Our father went home to be with the Lord on January 16, 2025, after a sudden decline in health from lymphoma and complications following a fall. He was always the strong, funny presence in our lives—quick with a joke, a little grumpy at times, but always loving. Some of my favorite memories are of us watching sentimental movies together sharing laughter and tears. He loved road trips with my big brother, played ping pong like a pro and made friends wherever he went.
Up until last year, my father was rarely ever sick. His diagnosis came as a shock, and his health declined pretty quickly. Even in the hospital, he tried to stay as positive as he could, unable to barely eat & unhappy. He looked forward to coming home. Despite his strength and determination, he passed away without life insurance, leaving our family to cover the costs of his memorial and final arrangements.
We’ve been deeply grateful for ALL of your support, comforting words, texts, gifts, calls, etc. Your thoughtfulness means so much to us as we navigate our father’s loss and honor his memory. Thank you for being there for our family during this difficult time.
Respectfully,
Deena, Gregory Jr. and our Mommy Janet
