My father has always been someone who would help anyone in need, but now he’s facing a difficult chapter in his life. He was recently diagnosed with early dementia, and it’s been a struggle for him to keep up with everyday expenses like food and bills. I try my best, but I work full time and don't have the time needed to be there to fully support and take care of him. He lives alone, but my mother has been taking care of him as much as she can by having him there most nights. She’s also on a fixed income and has limited ability to help. It’s been hard watching them both try to make ends meet, and I know they could use a little extra support right now. He has been a father figure to many of my friends growing up and always treated them as so.

The funds raised here will go directly toward helping my father with groceries, transportation to appointments, covering essential bills for his home and belongings, and upkeep of the property like lawn care. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference in his daily life and help ease some of the stress he and my mother are feeling.
