My wife’s father, who lives in the Philippines, is currently facing the toughest battle of his life. He was recently diagnosed with stage 4 blood cancer and is also suffering from severe kidney problems. Most parts of his body are numb already, and he has been in and out of the hospital for a long time. The medical expenses have become overwhelming for our family, and we are struggling to keep up with the growing costs of his treatment and care.

We recently moved to the United States from the Philippines, and we are still trying to get on our feet. I am earning minimum wage and studying welding fabrication at night, while my wife works as a nurse. Despite her job, the financial burden is too much for us to handle alone, especially with her planning to travel home soon to be with her father. We are doing everything we can to support both our family here and in the Philippines, but without savings and with bills piling up for rent, car, and daily needs, it has become impossible to manage on our own.
