My family has been through so much this past year. My wife was seven months pregnant when our baby girl was stillborn, and we are still trying to process the heartbreak. We moved to Tulsa about a year ago to be closer to my wife's father as he was dying, hoping to find some comfort and support. Since then, our car broke down and we lost everything we had in storage. Now, I'm trying to raise our four-year-old daughter Sapphire on a fixed income from disability, and we simply don't have enough to give our baby girl the funeral she deserves.
I've never asked anyone for anything before, but I don't know what else to do. I ran a radiator shop in Okmulgee for 40 years and thought I had everything set for retirement, but after my divorce and moving back to Oklahoma, all my equipment was stolen from my shop. I want to put my mother's ashes with my little girl who just passed, but right now, I feel lost and out of options. We need help to cover funeral expenses, get a car so we can get around, and catch up on bills to keep our family stable.
I've always tried to handle things myself and never thought I'd be in this position. Any support you can give means the world to my family and me. Thank you for reading our story and considering helping us during this difficult time.
