My wife fell very ill and nearly died in December of 2025. Since then, she has had to start dialysis and has been hospitalized several more times in the past few months. On top of that, we have a special needs 9-year-old, so the need to care for my disabled spouse and disabled son has left me unable to work to the extent needed to cover the bills mounting over the last 6 months, most notably property tax and car note payments.
I intend to use funds to keep our home, maintain much needed transportation that is essential for our family and my work, cover medical expenses outside of what insurance covers, and cover expenses related to earning money with our vehicle.
I have been considering starting this GoFundMe for months now as the need was very clear when my wife nearly died and was in the hospital for weeks, however it can be difficult to ask for help. Unfortunately, the situation has only gotten more dire and so I finally have no choice but to look for grace from the wonderful community I live in. I have provided service to the community as a driver the only way I know how, kindly and to the best of my ability. I have met so many wonderful people here and only ask from them as a last resort. I humbly wish blessings to all who read this and only ask for support that can be spared. I would love to be able to continue to be of service to my community in any way that I can, though my availability is limited by the challenges at home right now. I am also open to any job opportunities that could work with my current constraints, and would greatly appreciate the help of a real estate attorney regarding homestead protection for my disabled wife and child.
