My family has been facing unimaginable challenges over the past few months. My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 lung and brain cancer, and despite her strength and our hope, she passed away just a short time ago. The loss has left a deep ache in our hearts, and we are now navigating the difficult process of saying goodbye and honoring her memory. At the same time, my grandfather was diagnosed with leukemia only a couple of months ago. His condition has progressed quickly, and he is now on hospice care. This has been a truly scary and overwhelming experience for me, my sister, and especially my grandmother, who is the one holding our family together through it all. She has shown incredible strength, but the emotional and financial burdens are heavy. The funds raised here will go directly toward covering my mother’s funeral expenses, paying for my grandfather’s medical bills, and helping my grandmother with necessities as she continues to care for our family.
