After ongoing digestive issues that prompted an abdominal ultrasound, I discovered that Copper had gallbladder disease. This meant that his gallbladder had to be surgically removed or he would not survive.

I'm starting this fundraiser to help offset part of the cost of the surgery. I was laid off in 2025 and have not been able to find work since then, so it would mean the world to me if you could give what you can.

If any of you have met Copper, you know he has a big personality despite his tiny body. He's sweet and stubborn and never backs down from a challenge (even when it's five times his size), so neither will I! I know he's got a lot of life left in him, and he's looking forward to more walks, more rolling in the grass, more treats, and more cuddles!
