My daughter, Cordelia (3), is scheduled for spinal surgery on Tuesday April 28th, 2026, and as her mother, I need to be by her side throughout the process. Because of this, I will be missing a week of work, and unfortunately, my time off will be unpaid. This has created a lot of stress for our family, as we rely on my income to cover our basic living expenses.
