Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out during one of the hardest times our family has ever faced. My daughter is currently preparing to undergo brain surgery to remove a tumor found during an er visit, a procedure that is not only overwhelming emotionally, but also financially.

As a parent, my only focus is being there for her every step of the way. This surgery is critical for her health and future, and she will need constant care and support during her recovery.

Because of this, I will be taking at least a month off work (possibly longer) to stay by her side before, during, and after the surgery. Unfortunately, this means a complete loss of income during that time, on top of the already overwhelming medical expenses.

We are facing:

• Hospital stays and follow-up care

• Medications and recovery-related expenses

• At least one month without income while I care for her full-time
