My beautiful angel and two grandbabies were taken away from me by a drunk driver <sic> on a lonely Kansas Highway on January 4th. Lydia was the light of my life and my precious Jesse and Ronan were my oxygen. I don’t know how I will breathe without them, but I am trusting God for strength.

This campaign is more than funding a memorial service. Lydia left behind a precious little girl that now has to traverse her formative years without the loving, guiding hand of her mom. We want to support her with a trust that will provide the resources she will need for her well-being, education, and emotional healing.

Your kind donation will also help us fight for change: stricter drunk driving laws, accountability, and pushing for meaningful reform that will hold the passengers of a drunk driver equally responsible for their encouragement of this unlawful behavior. We will not rest until there is justice for Lydia and her two, young babies.
