To know me is to know my dad. He isn’t just a father to me; he is my best friend, my coworker, and my travel companion. He’s the kind of guy who hangs out with me and my friends, and everyone loves him. Our lives changed suddenly a little over a week ago. Just after getting back from a trip to Puerto Rico, my dad suffered a stroke. He has been transferred from the hospital to Encompass Health in Kissimmee, Florida, to begin the long road to recovery.

I am asking for your help to get him back to the dad we all know and love. We are raising funds to help cover his rising medical bills and rehabilitation costs. While financial support is incredibly helpful, what he needs most right now is community. We are hoping friends and family can visit him at Encompass Health—especially in the mornings during his rehab sessions—to encourage him to walk and talk again. I’m there as often as I can be, but your faces and voices would mean the world to him right now.
