On the morning of November 1st, my dad went outside to check on his truck, and I accompanied him with my dog. Suddenly, several vehicles arrived, and multiple masked individuals — including one woman — exited and began aggressively confronting us. They appeared to be undercover ICE agents.
The individuals shouted at my dad to step out of the truck. When he did not comply immediately, they began breaking the window, causing glass to shatter and cut his face. He was then forcibly pulled from the vehicle, slammed against the truck, and handcuffed. During this time, I was pushed back and warned, “Step back or we will have you arrested too.” After restraining him, they placed my father in the back of one of their vehicles and drove away, leaving me standing in the middle of the street, shocked and terrified.
My dad is a hardworking man, a loving husband, and a devoted father of two. He is also a Type 2 diabetic who requires regular meals to safely take his medication. We are deeply concerned because we have not been informed of his condition or whether he is being provided food and proper medical care.
My family and I are still processing this traumatic experience and doing everything in our power to bring him home. I am starting this GoFundMe to help raise funds for legal support and related expenses. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference and is deeply appreciated. Thank you for your kindness and support during this difficult time.
