My father recently suffered a serious fall that resulted in a neck injury. After seeing doctors, we learned he would need major neck surgery and would be unable to work for at least eight weeks. With only my mom and brother working, it’s been a struggle to keep up with the bills while making sure my dad has the care and support he needs to recover.

The financial pressure has been overwhelming. We’re facing mounting medical bills from the surgery and follow-up care, along with our regular rent and utility payments. Every day, my family is doing our best to stay positive and support each other, but it’s hard not to worry about how we’ll manage everything while my dad is out of work.
