Dear family and friends,
As some of you may know by now, our dad Bradley Milne recently suffered a cardiac arrest while working on his first day back to work. Thanks to CPR being done correctly in time by his coworker, and 8 shocks to the heart by paramedics, they were able to bring him back, and is here alive with us today!
Thankfully, he is finally off life support and breathing on his own, but he now faces a long and challenging recovery ahead that could last months, if not longer.
As we mentioned above, It our dad’s first day back to work after a long 4 months off work on medical leave due to heart issues. He spent a lot of time in and out of the hospital, unable to do the work that he loves. Our dad truly loves what he does, was so excited for his first day back, and now may never be able to operate a truck again. This wasn’t his first health battle. Just before all the heart complications started, he had a whole year of fighting— and beating!!!—Throat Cancer, which also included a lot time off work.
During this difficult time, we are reaching out for support to help cover not only any medical expenses that possibly aren’t covered under his medical plan, but also his personal bills while he is on long-term disability or medical leave - that will get figured out in the coming weeks or months depending on how recovery goes. The funds raised will go directly towards:
**Medical Expenses**: Ongoing treatments, therapies, and medications necessary for his recovery that possibly aren’t covered by his medical plan.
-**Living Expenses**: Rent, utilities, and other monthly bills that need to be managed while he is unable to work.
- **Rehabilitation Costs**: Support for physical and occupational therapy sessions that will aid in his recovery process.
Your generosity will make a significant difference in our families ability to focus on his healing without the added stress of financial burdens. We appreciate any help you can provide, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this campaign with others.
Thank you for your support and love during this challenging time. Together, we can help my dad get back on his feet and regain his strength we all know he has in him.
love Brad and The Milnes
