My dad has always been a hard working man, taking on two jobs and even a third whenever the opportunity arose. Everywhere he goes, he strikes up conversations and makes friends, bringing warmth and kindness to those around him. Even during difficult times, he offers a helping hand and lightens the mood with his comforting sense of humor. He's someone who faces the most challenging parts of life head-on, yet never loses his ability to make others smile.

For the past eight years, my dad has been battling diabetes and heart problems that have greatly limited his daily life. Despite the odds, he has pulled through time and time again, but each challenge has become harder to overcome. Now, he is waiting on a list to receive a heart transplant or an artificial heart, and we are approaching the time when he will undergo this life-changing surgery. The procedure will be very expensive, and our family is doing everything we can to support him.
