My dad moved to Texas at the beginning of March, hoping for a fresh start. None of us knew he was sick, and it was a shock when he began feeling unwell and had to go in and out of the hospital. Last Friday, we finally received the heartbreaking diagnosis of stage four sarcoma. Just a few days later, on Thursday evening, April 9, he lost his battle and passed away. The speed of everything has left our family reeling, and we are still trying to process this sudden loss.

We are now facing unexpected expenses as we try to honor his memory and take care of everything he left behind. The funds raised will help cover the cost of his cremation, memorial expenses, and help offset travel for family. I also need to pay for medical supplies that were already at the house and cover the cost of his pod that we still haven’t unpacked since he moved here. Every bit of support will help ease the burden on our family as we navigate these difficult days.
