My dad’s health journey has been incredibly difficult for our family. In October 2025, he was rushed to the hospital after showing stroke-like symptoms. While a stroke was ruled out, scans revealed lesions in his brain, and he had to undergo a biopsy and six weeks of IV antibiotics. We hoped for improvement, but on December 28, 2025, his condition suddenly declined, and he was admitted to a different hospital. After more scans and a PET scan, we received the devastating news that he has stage 4 lung cancer, which has spread to his liver, brain, and bones.

The emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming. Our hospital bills are now close to 1 million Philippine Peso, and that doesn’t even include the professional fees from the many doctors who have cared for him. We are doing everything we can to support him, but the costs are more than we can manage on our own.
