My dad has been in the hospital since mid January. What started as a diagnosis of diverticulitis quickly became much more serious. After surgery for diverticulitis, we learned just two weeks later that he had cancer—B cell lymphoma. Since then, he’s remained in the hospital, facing one challenge after another. From infections in his blood to severe sciatic nerve pain, it feels like every time we take a step forward, something else sets us back. The cancer has metastasized to his liver and possibly beyond. While he does have insurance, not everything is covered, and the medical bills are starting to pile up faster than we can manage.
The funds raised here will go directly toward his mounting medical bills, ongoing treatments, and, when the time comes, any in-home care costs he’ll need as he recovers. Every contribution will help ease the financial burden on our family and allow us to focus on supporting him through this incredibly difficult time.
Asking for help from others is the last thing we want to do, but it’s gotten unmanageable. We are deeply grateful for any support, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing our story. Thank you for being there for us and for helping my dad fight through this.
