Support for My Dad During a Medical Emergency

Hi everyone,

I’m writing this on behalf of my father, Mike Burt. I never thought I’d be writing something like this, but my dad, one of the hardest working people I know is currently in the hospital after what doctors believe is a heart attack. While we’re still waiting on full answers as to the severity of it, it’s clear that he’ll be out of work as he recovers.

My dad has always faced life head on, no matter how hard it’s been. He’s never asked for help, even when he probably should have. He’s the kind of person who will give you the shirt off his back without a second thought, and right now, I want to do whatever I can to give him some peace of mind.

He does have insurance, but it only goes so far. The bills are already coming in. medical costs, monthly living expenses, and everything else that doesn’t stop just because life throws another curveball. The stress of not being able to work is weighing heavily on him, and if I can lift even a piece of that burden, it will mean everything.

my dad had surgery yesterday to place a stent and is doing well. They did confirm 100% blockage widow maker heart attack. He is extremely lucky to be alive and we thank god for that! He should be home within the next couple days to rest and recover. Thank you everyone.
