Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out to ask for your support during one of the most difficult times our family has faced. My dad recently underwent an emergency open-heart surgery after doctors discovered an aortic dissection — a serious and life-threatening condition. Thankfully, the dissection hadn’t begun to leak, but the situation was urgent, and he was rushed into surgery to save his life.
He is currently in the ICU, and while we are grateful he's still with us, his recovery has been rocky. The toll of the surgery and the many medications he’s on have put too much pressure on his kidneys, and he's now undergoing dialysis treatment. His discharge date has been pushed back, and it’s clear that the journey to full recovery will be longer than we initially expected.
On top of the emotional toll, the financial strain is becoming overwhelming. Between the extended hospital stay, treatments, mortgage, other typical bills, and the growing list of medical costs, we are doing everything we can — but we could use some help.
In addition to this, I'm 19 years old and one of my dads last relatives. I've been dealing with all of my dads employers (he has 3 jobs), the doctors, his insurance, and so much more on my own. I'm continuing to learn about handling a situation like this day by day.
If you're able to contribute, any amount would be appreciated. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this page with others. Every bit of support means the world to us and brings us closer to helping my dad heal without the added stress of financial hardship.
Thank you so much for keeping my family in your thoughts and prayers.
With love and gratitude,
Jamie
