Hi, my name is Tahisha, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my family during the most difficult time we’ve ever faced.

Just a few weeks ago, our world was turned upside down. My dad suffered a major stroke that left him hospitalized for a month and now has very limited mobility leaving him unable to work.

While we were still reeling from that shock, tragedy struck again. My brother was shot in a senseless act of violence. By some miracle, he survived, but his injuries are serious, and he faces a long road to recovery.

Both my dad and my brother were the main financial providers for the household. Now, with them unable to work, the weight of everything has fallen on my mother who is still caring for my 15 year old brother as well. She’s doing everything she can to keep us afloat — physically, emotionally, and financially.

We’re asking for any assistance to cover medical expenses and recovery costs for both my dad and brother.

Food and basic necessities to keep the home stable.
