UPDATE 10/21 - thank you to everyone who has donated and shared. Jonathan is doing a little better since being transferred to CPMC. He still has a long road to recovery. The infection in his body has definitely taken it’s toll, both physically and mentally. His mom and cousin drove up to San Francisco this past week and have been by his side. Monday they’ll meet with the care team to get more answers. Your continued prayers and support is greatly appreciated”. Thank You!
—————————————————————————-
My cousin Jonathan has been in the hospital since January 11th and was recently Air-Lifted out of town to San Francisco for a higher level of care. This has been an incredibly difficult time for his mother as she navigates the challenges of his illness and the uncertainty that comes with it. Being far from home has added extra stress, both emotionally and financially, as she tries to support him in every way she can.
His mother has been by his side since day one, living in a hotel next to the hospital in Hanford for the past 2 months before he was transferred to San Francisco. Now that he’s farther away, it’s even harder on her financially to travel and stay close to him. The costs of frequent travel to San Francisco are quickly adding up. Our family is doing everything possible to be there for my cousin, but we are reaching out for help to ease some of the financial burden. Every donation will go directly toward assisting his mother and the travel costs needed to keep her close to him during this time.
We are deeply grateful for any support, whether it’s a donation, a share of our story, or words of encouragement. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to us as we work to bring my cousin home healthy and strong. Thank you for standing with our family.
