I grew up with my cousin, and she was more like a sister to me. I loved her dearly, and her loss has left a hole in my heart that words can hardly describe. She was a devoted mother to her two-year-old son, who was truly her world. Our family is devastated by her sudden and tragic passing.

We recently learned that she was shot multiple times in an alley in DC. The circumstances are still unclear, and we don’t know who is responsible. The shock and pain of losing her in such a violent way is overwhelming, especially for her little boy who now faces life without his mother.
