On June 24, our family in Venezuela experienced an unimaginable tragedy when two powerful earthquakes struck, changing their lives forever.

My cousin, ( Gledys Noguera ) and her young son, and her husband were inside their apartment building when it suddenly collapsed. By a miracle, my cousin and her son were able to escape alive. Tragically, her husband became trapped under the rubble and did not survive.

In a matter of minutes, they lost everything—their home, their belongings, their sense of security, and most heartbreakingly, a beloved husband and father.

They are now left with nothing but the clothes they escaped in. They urgently need help with basic necessities such as food, clothing, temporary shelter, hygiene items, medications, and the many unexpected expenses that come with trying to rebuild after such a devastating loss.

I’m creating this fundraiser because I want to give them hope during the darkest time of their lives. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward helping them meet their immediate needs and begin rebuilding what was taken from them.

El 24 de junio, nuestra familia en Venezuela vivió una tragedia inimaginable cuando dos fuertes terremotos cambiaron sus vidas para siempre.

Mi prima, su pequeño hijo y su esposo se encontraban dentro de su edificio de apartamentos cuando este colapsó por completo. Milagrosamente, mi prima y su hijo lograron salir con vida. Lamentablemente, su esposo quedó atrapado entre los escombros y perdió la vida.

En cuestión de minutos, lo perdieron todo: su hogar, sus pertenencias, la seguridad que conocían y, lo más doloroso, a un esposo y padre amado.

Hoy no tienen absolutamente nada, solo la ropa con la que lograron escapar. Necesitan ayuda urgente para cubrir sus necesidades más básicas, como alimentos, ropa, alojamiento temporal, artículos de higiene, medicamentos y todos los gastos inesperados que conlleva comenzar de nuevo después de una pérdida tan devastadora.

He creado esta campaña con la esperanza de brindarles un poco de alivio y esperanza en el momento más difícil de sus vidas. Cualquier donación, por pequeña que sea, será destinada directamente a ayudarles a cubrir sus necesidades inmediatas y dar los primeros pasos para reconstruir sus vidas.
