My brother has always been the kind of person who shows up for others. He started working at just 12 years old and, for the past 20 years, hasn’t missed a single day of work. He’s the first to lend a hand to friends, family, and even strangers in need. A few months ago, he was laid off from his job, which meant he lost his medical insurance. Not long after, he suffered a small stroke. He was able to return home and was working hard to recover.

Now, things have taken a much more serious turn. My brother has had a major stroke and is currently in the ICU. He has no income, no insurance, and faces a long road to recovery. The stress of mounting bills and uncertainty about the future is overwhelming for him and our family.

We are raising funds to help cover his rent and utilities while he’s in the hospital, and to support his rehabilitation and the medical equipment he’ll need as he recovers.
