I’m creating this GoFundMe for my brother Rudy, who was recently involved in a serious car accident during a mental health crisis and has left him with brain swelling, in a medical induced coma and he is now fighting for his life in the hospital. Our family is devastated and doing everything we can to support him. He struggles with mental illness, and that day was especially difficult for him. He has always said that he wants to live and keep going, even though the thoughts he battles sometimes tell him otherwise. That’s the reality of what he’s been facing—and right now, he needs support, healing, and stability more than ever.

My siblings and I have been through so much growing up—without our parents, facing addiction in our family, and struggling with feelings of rejection and not truly having a sense of belonging. Despite all of that, by the grace and mercy of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I’ve found healing in my own life. I truly believe my brother can experience that same healing and restoration.

He is deeply loved by so many people, including his daughter, who is a young adult and has been so strong, standing by his side and supporting him through this difficult time. It means so much to our family to see her strength and love for her father.

We’re asking for help to ease the financial burden from medical expenses, recovery, or funeral expenses if the worst happens.
