My mother-in-law is not just any mother-in-law to me—she is truly a bonus mom. She’s an incredible mother, wife, and grandmother who has always put her family first. Recently, she received the difficult news that she has a mass in her brain, and went in on January 14th for a surgery to remove the mass. We now have the gut wrenching news that it’s is a GBM. She’s got a long road ahead but somehow has such incredible positivity and faith. This uncertainty has been overwhelming for our family, but we are doing our best to stay hopeful and strong for her as we pray for a miracle and god to remove the cancer from her body.

Right now, she will be changing to full time disability and my father-in-law is already on medical disability. With her being the primary income earner, we know that bills will get tight once the medical expenses start coming in. The financial strain is already beginning to show, and we want to make sure they can keep up with their mortgage, medical bills, and groceries during this challenging time. She really wants to spend as much time with her family as possible, and we’re trying to be able to fly her older son Seth and his boys out as much as possible to spend time with her.
